My process for making art is simple. Start with a 2'X2' hardboard panel all primed and ready to go. I take no more than three, maybe four colours and start painting. Light "washes" of thinned down acrylic are first, then the more opaque paint is last. It happens pretty quick. Sometimes the paintings work right off the bat, other times I will re work the painting, or scrap it and prime over to try it again.
I stay with the same size format for all my paintings. They can be grouped together in doubles, triples, etc. Some groupings can get quite large and make an impact in a room. Framing is easy because of no variable sizes. I love seeing my paintings in the right setting, where it contributes as a great accent in a beautiful room.
